Ethical and critical thinking

When you think critically and see the world from multiple points of view, you have the power to solve the world’s biggest problems. That's why philosophy and ethics play such essential roles in every Notre Dame degree.

As educators in the liberal arts tradition, critical thinking is part of our DNA. Our Core Curriculum is embedded in every degree and provides our graduates with transferable skills that are integral to every industry, vocation and profession, laying the foundation for a fulfilling career and a purposeful life.

It's personal

Notre Dame students benefit from a unique, personalised approach to education and pastoral care. Our personalised approach starts with our admissions process, which goes beyond a single score. We not only look at your ATAR, we look at the person behind it.

We consider your personal qualities, motivation to study and academic potential, your contribution to school, church or community life. Our smaller lecture sizes means you can form connections with your teachers, classmates and future colleagues. Mentoring and academic support programs help you achieve success in your studies.

We see you as an individual, our admissions process goes beyond academic results, your experience, interests, and contributions matter.
