    The University of Notre Dame, Australia offers a wide range of courses for you to choose from across our national Schools. You can choose courses that are tailored towards your home degrees or expand your expertise by exploring subjects in an entirely new field of study.

    Browse the full selection of course to find out what courses you can take as a semester abroad student, how many credits you need, and what options are available.

    For one semester, you will typically enrol in three or four courses of study (each valued at 25 credit points) to make up a full-time study load of 75 or 100 credit points.

    You will need to check that you meet any requirements, including prerequisites. Our friendly Study Abroad Advisor will give you advice on your preferred courses of study and guide you through the enrolment process.

Important information and key dates

  • Semester dates

    It’s important to plan your arrival in Perth or Sydney carefully to ensure you’ve recovered from the flight and are settled into your surroundings. You also want to arrive in time for mandatory orientation and the start of classes.

    The academic year is split into two:

    • Semester 1: February to June
    • Semester 2: July to November

    To help in planning for your time abroad, our academic calendars and other important information dates are found at Calendars and timetables.

  • Application deadlines

    Semester 1 study (February to June):

    • Nomination due from a partner university: 15 November of the previous year
    • Application due date: 30 November of the previous year

    Semester 2 (July to November):

    • Nomination due from a partner university: 15 April of the same year
    • Application due date: 1 May of the same year
  • Study fees

    The fees are:

    • 4 courses (100 UNDA credit points) AU$8,800
    • 5 courses (125 UNDA credit points) AU$11,000
