Deferred exam extension application
General information
If, due to exceptional circumstances, you are not able to sit your deferred examination, you can apply for an extension to your exam deferral.
Applications must be submitted no later than three working days after the date of your deferred examination.
You are required to submit a Certification of Health Professional or any other appropriate supporting documentation with this application. Documents certified by an immediate relative or a person residing at the same address as the applicant will not be accepted.
Important note: Applying for a deferred exam extension may have a significant impact to your current study plan and can significantly extend your expected program completion timeline. Prior to making an application, it is recommended that you seek course advice from your School to better understand how applying for a deferred exam extension may affect you.
Once submitted, your application will go to Student Administration for assessment.
Please note that during peak exam periods, application assessment and outcome notifications may be delayed. We encourage you to apply for your deferred exam extension as early as possible.

If your application is approved, you will be advised in your outcome email of the exam period that you will sit your deferred exam.
